Plot Summary: The Diclonius, a mutated homo sapien that is said to be selected by God and will eventually become the destruction of mankind, possesses two horns in their heads, and has a "sixth sense" which gives it telekinetic abilities. Due to this dangerous power, they have been captured and isolated in laboratories by the government. Lucy, a young and psychotic Diclonius, manages to break free of her confines and brutally murder most of the guards in the laboratory, only to get shot in the head as she makes her escape. She survives and manages to drift along to a beach, where two teenagers named Kouta and Yuka discovers her. Having lost her memories, she was named after the only thing that she can now say, "Nyuu," and the two allow her to stay at Kouta's home. However, it appears that the evil "Lucy" is not dead just yet...

i tried to down load ep1, it took like three times longer to download than any thing else, then when it was downloaded i could only get sound.
also when i downloaded ep1 it went on my windows media player, but all the other episodes went on my real player.
vlc is a media player that supports lots of formats. use vlc to open as these are avi files. dont just double click. manually open with vlc. dont be lazy.
how do i get vlc, is there a web adress

Does anybody know which episodes the Special was designed to fit between? from the context of it, i would suppose it would be somewhere in the middle, but it definantly doesnt seem like it should come right after the last episode.

On the question on where that special episode would fit... To me I think (my opinion) that it could fit between episodes 10 and 11 because of these little things I've observed:
1)The broken picture
2)The mention of Nana being able to do the chore of feeding the dog.
I'm sure there are other things that would be in there to help place the episode... But I wouldn't watch the episode in between any, it'll still throw off the whole flow of the story. That's the reason it's a "special" episode. Probablly ideas taken out of the original concept of the anime as a whole.

good series for either psyhotically-inclined ppl [explains my liking, (maybe??? O.O)], gore-lovers, or anime diehards... my freind's a "war-jock-nerd" military/spy otaku, he boasts about his fortitude in the face of gore... he got sick after watching the first episode.. it was funny, i like the opening song... thanks for uploading it, although my freind dissagrees =P
and that was why i changed my forum name into something other than sadistix cos i couldnt take the show too.
undersrtandable, i had day-light nightmares after ep 4.lol, but after i "filterd" out the gore it has a sad, but good storyline

finally watched the special now... took 4ever to download >_>, its pretty "light" for the series, out of place a bit, so i can see why they left it as a special and not add it to the actual series as a "ordered" episode.
Nana's the best, even if i do feel sorry for her a few times... hehe... ^_^
Extra note: DUB is very gay, subs all they way cause my japanese is my 5th and worst language >_> i learned by the great teacher called

...my rating on it...6/10 there wasn't a very good plot...not alot of action...u didn't see much of the actual lucy...more less that pathetic halfbrained personality...there wasn't even a final battle...guy just blew up with his daughter...leaving nana to like kill herself or something...then lucy walks into a crowd of soldiers...ur just left saying "wait..is that boss guy still alive or was that her killing him?" then ..well it overall just left u hanging things i liked though...the ACTUAL lucy..not the halfbrained twit, the song (who can honestly say they hate that song?), and...hmm...not much else honestly..
the stupid cousin got too jealous though...hate jealous chicks..they just aggrivate me...and it's his cousin....wtf...making out with his cousin...i can't see how they don't have like...downsyndrome or some shit...more less...i liked it...but it's just like the FF movie....they could've done SOOO much more with it....

I Loved this anime T.T This has been my favorite since the first time i saw it T.T (When i was 11) And im 18 now so yeah >.> If only what happened at the end didnt happen...T.T THEN THEY COULD MAKE MORE EPISODES! T.T It accually teaches you a lesson if you look hard enough >.> (For those too lazy, i got "Dont mess with a chick with horns" Lols)
